The upcoming Beatles biopics have cast their first non-Beatle. We’ve been hearing about director Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles movies — four of them, one for every Beatle — for a while now. Earlier this year, Mendes confirmed that all four pictures are set to open in April 2028, with Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson and John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan and Ringo Starr. Now, four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan has joined the cast as Linda McCartney, Paul’s wife and Wings bandmante.
